About The Position

Ascension Via Christi - Wichita, KS is seeking a Patient Care Technician for their Ambulatory Care department at St. Joseph facility. This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday through Friday, from 4:30 am to 1 pm. Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School Diploma or GED OR an active CNA Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of experience providing patient care within a hospital setting

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with basic patient care under the guidance of licensed nursing staff
• Support safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning
• Observe and report changes in patients' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the nursing team promptly
• Accurately document care activities and observations in patient records
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and ensure medical equipment is properly cared for and ready for use
