About The Position

Mountain View Surgery Center of Glendale is hiring a Patient Care Technician PRN. This is a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. The Patient Care Technician provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. They maintain a clean and orderly patient care environment, assist during patient examinations and procedures, and obtain and record patient vital signs. Additionally, they provide nutritional intake and report results and observations. The primary goal is efficiently providing surgical and/or procedural services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Requirements

• Direct patient care experience
• Assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport
• Maintaining a clean and orderly patient care environment
• Assisting during patient examinations and procedures
• Obtaining and recording patient vital signs
• Providing nutritional intake
• Reporting results and observations
