About The Position

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Technician for the Days shift. This role is crucial in providing direct patient care and supporting the healthcare team in a state-of-the-art medical center that has been recognized for its excellence in nursing and as a Certified Primary Stroke Center.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (REQUIRED)
• One or more of the following is REQUIRED:
• Sentara Care Partner Certification Program
• Successful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)
• National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT)
• Completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School
• Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and Paramedic
• Current student enrolled in a clinical program (beyond prerequisites) having completed at least one semester of RN, LPN, RT or PT
• Current work experience within the last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant.
• Basic Life Support Certification - REQUIRED
