Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Support patient mobility and transitions by safely assisting with admissions and discharges to ensure a seamless, welcoming experience.
  • Enhance the daily lives of patients by providing personalized assistance with essential care activities, fostering dignity and comfort during their stay.
  • Monitor and communicate vital changes in patient well-being to the nursing team, acting as a critical link in the delivery of proactive, high-quality care.
  • Document patient care journeys with precision to maintain accurate records and ensure the entire care team is aligned on patient progress.
  • Cultivate a healing environment by maintaining organized, patient-ready rooms and ensuring essential medical equipment is clean and functional.
