About The Position

Jefferson Health is hiring a Patient Care Tech for its Moss-Magee Rehab Doylestown acute rehabilitation unit. The 12-bed unit serves patients with orthopedic, stroke, brain, spinal, and other rehabilitation needs. Patient Care Techs provide direct bedside care to patients and report to the Nurse Manager. The position is part-time, with 24 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Schedules are available six weeks in advance. The schedule requires working every third weekend and one holiday per season.

Requirements

High school diploma.
CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience in an acute care inpatient environment.
Patient Care Tech or Nursing Assistant certification.

Responsibilities

Perform assigned nursing procedures to support patient comfort and well-being.
Maintain appropriate documentation for assigned patients, including flow sheets.
Assist physicians with examinations and tests as needed.
Perform other tasks involving respiratory services, rehabilitation services, and phlebotomy.
