Patient Care Tech - St. Peter's Hospital - Prog/CVICU - FT Days - three 12 hr shifts
About The Position
St. Peter's Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Patient Care Tech for 12-hour day shifts, working rotating weekdays, weekends, and holidays in the PCU (Progressive Care Unit/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit). Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to do heavy lifting, pushing, pulling and standing for long hours
- Completion of 1 week SPHP PCT training program and completion of unit specific competencies.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding and ambulation
- Taking vitals, patient care documentation
- Managing supplies
