Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Support the daily well-being of our patients by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, ensuring every individual maintains their dignity and comfort during their stay.
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment by managing the seamless entry and exit of patients, serving as a steady and reassuring presence during transitions of care.
  • Monitor and report vital changes in a patient’s physical or emotional state to the nursing team, acting as a critical set of "eyes and ears" to ensure proactive and safe clinical interventions.
  • Document care activities and observations with precision to maintain high-quality records that keep the entire medical team aligned on the patient’s progress.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and healing by ensuring patient rooms are orderly and medical equipment is ready for immediate use, directly contributing to a high-functioning clinical floor.
