About The Position
The Patient Care Tech works in MedSurg and, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. The role requires competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- One year of patient care experience is preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Certification from a Patient Care Technician program.
- One year of patient care experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
