About The Position

Under the supervision of a Nurse, the Patient Care Tech performs delegated functions as a member of the patient care team to provide a variety of services. These activities contribute to meeting patients’ health care, safety, and comfort needs and are performed in accordance with existing regulatory and hospital standards, policies, and procedures. The role is full-time, day shift. Pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet strict time frames.

Nice To Haves

• Previous patient care experience.
• Education in a related health field, such as a medical assistant program or EMT certification.
