About The Position
This role is within the Multispecialty Surgical department at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. The Patient Care Tech will gain professional growth, decision-making, mentoring, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. They will assist patients with basic clinical/non-clinical care, movement, and personal needs under supervision. The role also involves reporting and documenting changes in patient condition and keeping patient areas and equipment clean and tidy.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

- Patient Care experience (CNA, Home Health Aide, Patient Care Tech, Caregiver, EMT, Medical Assistant, Student Nurse)
