The Patient Care Tech (PCT) is an integral part of a patient-focused team who use their knowledge, skills, and energy to carry out the sacred task of helping others. They serve as the communication hub for the patient care environment and are responsible for creating and maintaining a care environment conducive to healing. As a team member, you help fulfill our mission to make life better here for our community.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Nursing assistant experience or certification; if no nursing assistant experience or certification, completion of nursing assistant or patient care tech program
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within two (2) weeks of hire
Legible printing
Clear speaking voice
Typing/computer skills
Mature, courteous deportment
Driver’s license free of violation for SJRIR

Nice To Haves

Medical terminology required prior to unit orientation or documentation of formal class within three (3) years
Previous experience
Multi-language ability
