Patient Care Tech - Outpatient Services
About The Position
The Patient Care Tech participates in providing safe, quality patient care as delegated by the Registered Nurse, supporting the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. The role assists nursing staff and physicians with patient-care and non-patient-care activities. Tasks are performed in a caring and efficient manner to support customer service and may include department housekeeping and maintenance of supplies, equipment, and facilities. This position is in Outpatient Services and is part-time at 16 hours per week on the evening shift, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Basic Life Support training.
- No prior experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience.
- Healthcare student status.
- CNA certification.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
Responsibilities
