About The Position

Arlington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital serving Arlington and the greater Dallas–Fort Worth region. We provide specialized, intensive rehabilitation for patients recovering from serious illness, injury, surgery, and other complex medical conditions, with a focus on restoring function, independence, and quality of life. Our interdisciplinary team combines physician-led care, rehabilitation nursing, advanced therapy services, and individualized treatment planning to help each patient achieve meaningful outcomes and successfully transition to the next level of care. Arlington Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is CIHQ-accredited and disease-specific certified in Stroke Rehabilitation, Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation, Amputation Rehabilitation, and Wound Care, reflecting our commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices. We are seeking a Therapy Patient Care Technician to join our team of passionate patient caregivers!

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • CPR Certification required.
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
  • Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practices.
  • Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment.
  • Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Working under the supervision of a licensed therapist, primarily responsible for providing support care to patients and therapy staff.
  • Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
