BJC is offering a Patient Care Tech (PCT) Academy! This is a paid 6-week accelerated training program which combines classroom instruction, hands-on skill labs and on-the-job training in a clinical practice. The training satisfies the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services requirements for Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP). Training will begin July 13th, 2026! Weeks 1-3: M-F: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Weeks 4-6: (3) 12-hour clinical shifts. Locations include: Barnes Jewish Hospital, Barnes Jewish St. Peter's, Barnes Jewish West County, and Progress West Hospital! PLEASE NOTE: CURRENT BJC EMPLOYEES MUST BE IN CURRENT POSITION FOR 3 MONTHS TO BE ELIGIBLE. Individuals selected for the program will be employed as PCTs during training.
