We use advanced technology to support our team and enhance patient care. Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital (TSSH) specializes in surgical services, diagnostic imaging and pain management. TSSH offers state-of-the-art MRI, computed tomography and myelography technology. TSSH offers a variety of services, such as anesthesia, ear, nose & throat, general surgery, GYN, GYN/oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry, radiology and spine care.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

Minimum six months previous hospital or nursing home experience preferred or State of Oklahoma Nurse Aide Certificate

Responsibilities

Utilizes medical, technical skills to provide direct and indirect patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, personal care, comfort measures, and maintenance of a safe, clean environment.
Safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, dispatch services and appropriate documentation of services.
Function as an observer for any patient who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety.
Performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the Pre-Op unit.
