About The Position
The Patient Care Tech (PCT) assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet their physical, emotional, and social needs. This role also involves serving as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants and PCTs, and being cross-trained to the Unit Associate role. The PCT assists with maintaining a safe and clean unit environment and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer into role date.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program
- Florida-issued CNA license
- Completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program.
