About The Position
The Patient Care Tech assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient. This role serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. The position also assists with the maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment and performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification from an approved program
- Florida-issued CNA license
- Completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living
