About The Position

Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola is seeking a Patient Care Tech for their Oncology department. This is a full-time, night shift position working three 12-hour shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. The role involves performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision, aiding with patient movement and placement, assisting patients with personal care and daily living activities, reporting findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff, and maintaining a clean and orderly patient environment with medical equipment.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Patient Care Tech experience in a hospital setting.
• Healthcare experience.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
