About The Position

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to postpartum mothers in a couplet-care model, with primary focus on maternal recovery, comfort, and overall well-being. Assist mothers with activities of daily living, including walking, perineal care, hygiene, pain management support, and comfort measures during the postpartum recovery period. Obtain, monitor, and accurately document maternal vital signs and labs, promptly reporting any changes in condition and maintaining strong attention to detail in a non-critical care setting. Promote a supportive, family-centered environment by managing room flow and visitors appropriately while prioritizing the mother’s rest, privacy, safety, and recovery needs.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
