Patient Care Tech ED
About The Position
This role involves supporting a respectful and comfortable healing environment by assisting patients with essential personal care and the activities of daily living. You will enhance patient safety and recovery by aiding with the careful movement and positioning of individuals as directed by the clinical team. You will act as a vital observer for the nursing staff by identifying and reporting changes in a patient's physical, mental, or emotional condition. You will maintain the integrity of the clinical record by accurately documenting patient observations and care activities in a timely manner. You will ensure a safe and efficient care environment by keeping patient rooms orderly and maintaining the functionality of medical equipment.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Nurse Aide preferred.
