How you’ll make an impact in this role Assist physicians and nurses with technical patient care, including phlebotomy, IV access, wound care, specimen collection, and monitoring equipment. Safely transport and position patients for tests and procedures using proper body mechanics. Document procedures, observations, and patient information accurately in the medical record. Communicate patient status and coordinate care with nurses, physicians, EMS, and the interdisciplinary team. Maintain a clean, safe environment following departmental policies and infection control standards.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the state of Wisconsin obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
