About The Position
Performs the function of a Patient Care Technician in carrying out all assignments under the direction of an RN in all areas of assignment including Inpatient, ED and Day Surgery. This position will be a float only position. Is accountable for all patient care he/she gives in the unit assigned/scheduled. Is responsible for adhering to all standards of Nursing Practice and for promoting teamwork among Colleagues through collaboration and respect.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Effective verbal and written skills
- Effective customer service
- Computer keyboard skills
- Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- One year experience in healthcare setting preferred
Nice To Haves
- Completion of Nursing Assistant Certification, Nursing Fundamentals Course, EMT Course, or MA Course preferred
