About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is the backbone of bedside care, performing basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. This role involves handling patient mobility, hygiene (ADLs), and safe transfers. PCTs also provide clinical support by monitoring vital signs and documenting data accurately, acting as the primary "eyes and ears" for the nursing staff. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring equipment is ready.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

- Previous acute care experience preferred - Hospital experience
