About The Position
Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is searching for their next Patient Care Supervisor to join the Nursing Administration Team! This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the healthcare facility during their shift, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and staff efficiency. The Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between departments, providing leadership, direction, and support to nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare providers. The Supervisor is also tasked with coordinating patient flow, managing staffing levels, responding to emergencies, and addressing any operational issues that may arise throughout their shift.
Requirements
- BSN or higher
- 2 years of nursing in an Acute Care facility required
- 1 year of nursing leadership experience required
