About The Position
Millennium Physician Group is seeking an experienced Patient Care Specialist to join our busy Primary Care office in Brooksville, FL. This high‑volume practice includes 5 providers, a walk‑in clinic, and an on‑site lab. If you excel in a fast‑paced medical environment and enjoy supporting both patients and providers, this role is an excellent fit.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in a Healthcare Front Office role
- Healthcare background required
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude
- EMR experience required (Athena preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced setting
- Comfortable interacting with high patient volumes daily
- Ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 25 lbs occasionally
Responsibilities
- Patient check‑in and check‑out with accuracy and professionalism
- Greeting patients warmly and delivering excellent customer service
- Managing phones, scheduling, and front‑office workflow
- Supporting providers and clinical staff in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- Using EMR systems to document and process patient information
- Multitasking effectively while maintaining attention to detail
