About The Position

The Patient Care Services Coordinator is a dedicated and detail-oriented member of the healthcare team. This role involves overseeing patient support activities such as scheduling appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers, communicating with health insurance companies, and ensuring that patient needs are met effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to enhancing the patient experience. This position may require working in various hospital locations, including but not limited to the infusion clinic, inpatient care unit, care management, and the emergency department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• High level of comfort with technology including electronic medical records system(s)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• High level of emotional intelligence
• Comfort level with autonomy
