About The Position

Sentara Martha Jefferson Ortho Pantops Office is now hiring a Full-Time Patient Care Representative in Charlottesville, VA! This role is responsible for the registration process of new and current patients at the site. It involves completing check-in and check-out functions, including collecting co-pays, scheduling appointments, and handling requests for medical records. The Patient Care Representative will also answer telephone calls and greet all patients and visitors warmly. The ability to communicate professionally with insurance carriers and discharge planners is essential. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and energetic.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner.
• Must be enthusiastic and energetic.

Nice To Haves

• Previous front-desk or patient care experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Registration process of new and current patients at the site.
