About The Position

UW Health in northern Illinois is seeking a Patient Care Receptionist for their Family Medicine department. This role is crucial for providing excellent patient care and administrative support within a clinic setting. The position offers a varied schedule, primarily during day shifts, with potential hours between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Additional compensation components include shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends, as well as overtime and on-call pay. Requirements

• Must provide a copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or the highest level of completed degree obtained.
• 1 year of professional experience in a clinic setting.
• Previous patient care experience in a medical facility.

Nice To Haves

• Computer experience.
• Previous receptionist experience.
• Previous word processing experience.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support in a clinic setting.
• Manage patient care reception duties.
• Work within the hours of 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
• Potentially work evening, night, and weekend shifts with differential pay.
• Participate in overtime and on-call duties as required.
