About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Patient Care Partner for their 3 North - Telemetry unit. This role is a vital part of the nursing team, providing comfort, calm, and compassion to patients and families. Patient Care Partners are expected to demonstrate excellence in clinical tasks such as drawing blood, taking EKGs, monitoring vital signs, and performing blood glucose testing. The position involves collaborating with nurses and nursing attendants to ensure high-quality patient care. This is a part-time night shift role, covering hours from 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, New York. Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Successful completion of Nursing Assistant Program or Enrollment in an accredited school of nursing with completion of 1-2 semesters of clinical practice or EMT certification
- EKG Certification
- Phlebotomy Certification
- BLS Certifications
Nice To Haves
- Current or previous enrollment in one of the following college or technical level programs
- 1-3 years in an acute care setting
