The Patient Care Partner works under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct patient care for individuals of all ages. This role supports the healthcare team by assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, performing clinical support tasks, and helping create a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for patients and their families. Provides general support tasks (clinical and non‐clinical) for the Hospital. Works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to patients in age groups including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. In addition, the Care Partner will maintain competency levels defined for the age groups specific to the patient care area with consideration to physical, communication, safety, nutrition, and psychosocial needs under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
