Join our physical therapy clinic team as a Patient Care Coordinator where you'll be the first point of contact for our patients. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional who can create a positive first impression while efficiently managing administrative responsibilities to ensure our clinic runs smoothly and our patients feel valued from the moment they walk through our doors. We are open to part-time and full-time shift preferences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of medical office or customer service experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and practice management software
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and positive, friendly demeanor

Nice To Haves

  • associate's degree preferred
  • Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and collecting required documentation
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the therapists' calendars effectively
  • Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately
  • Process patient payments and manage daily financial transactions
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations
  • Manage electronic medical records and ensure patient information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
  • Handle general office duties including patient documents and supply management
  • Assist with insurance claims processing as needed
  • Participate, as requested and with reasonable notice, in community outreach, local events, patient education, employer/school outreach, or relationship-building activities that support clinic growth, brand awareness, and community engagement.
