About The Position

The Patient Financial Advocates are patient facing. This position generates revenue by handling high volumes of patient calls and providing telephonic customer service with basic knowledge of all areas of Revenue Cycle. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of experience accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across multiple systems ensuring attention to detail
  • 1+ years of professional experience in administrative support, customer service, healthcare operations, or related support roles
  • Ability to work an 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:30am – 5pm
  • Ability to work occasional overtime, weekends or holidays as needed
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older

Responsibilities

  • Provide support with billing, patient payments, patient inquires
  • Processing assistance applications
  • Helping get insurance coverage and resolving patient issues
  • Help patients apply for Medicaid and special Medicaid programs.
