Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years in a dental or customer service setting preferred
  • Confident with dental software, email systems, and office tools like Google Drive, Excel, and Word
  • Clear, compassionate, and confident communication skills—whether face-to-face or on the phone
  • Ability to manage tasks efficiently and take pride in accuracy
  • A passion for creating welcoming, stress-free patient experiences
  • Ability to support others and thrive in a collaborative environment
  • Reliable and adaptable, showing up on time, following through, and staying flexible with scheduling needs

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients warmly and professionally—whether in person or by phone
  • Schedule appointments that support both patient needs and practice goals
  • Present treatment plans and offer financial counseling with clarity and compassion
  • Manage insurance verifications, billing coordination, and collections
  • Handle emails, voicemails, and messages promptly and accurately
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and data in systems like Open Dental and Dental Intelligence
  • Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth, efficient operations and exceptional patient service
  • Promote and protect patient confidentiality (HIPAA) and uphold clinical excellence standards
