About The Position

US Fertility, the nation’s leading partnership of physician-led fertility practices, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join their team at Shady Grove Fertility in Norfolk, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to an organization focused on building families and advancing reproductive medicine. The Patient Care Coordinator will provide clinical care support to fertility patients, including counseling, procedure teaching, communicating physician orders, and offering pre and post-operative education. The position emphasizes creating a compassionate environment and supporting excellence in customer service, working both independently and collaboratively within a team committed to shared success and continuous improvement. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional weekends and holidays, and requires floating to the Virginia Beach office as needed.

Requirements

Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to follow-through, and high degree of comfort with computer applications, accuracy and speed with data entry is required.
Minimum of one year of prior experience in healthcare and familiarity with medical terminology

Responsibilities

Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients
Provide patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions
Provide pre and post op education
Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients' families
Work independently to assure the program goals are achieved
Support and promote excellence in customer service
