About The Position

Piedmont Pediatrics is seeking a FULL-TIME Patient Care Coordinator (CNA, EMT, or CMA) to join their team. This role involves rotation between clinical (direct patient care) and administrative (patient registration and scheduling) duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, experience in patient care as a CNA, EMT, or CMA, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and strong communication skills via phone and messaging are also essential. The practice serves patients from birth through college years, utilizes EMR, and aims to cultivate a collaborative and supportive team environment. Requirements

  • Current CNA, EMT, or CMA License is required
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Greet and room patients
  • Obtain height, weight and vitals
  • Talk with patient about reason for visit and provide anticipatory guidance
  • Assist providers throughout the visit as needed
  • Administer injections
  • Record and maintain accurate records in electronic medical record system
  • Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms between appointments
  • Point of Care Lab Testing and Phlebotomy
  • Maintain medical supplies in patient exam rooms
  • Registration and Scheduling Front Desk work
  • Performs related work as needed to support the mission of Piedmont Pediatrics
