About The Position

Beltone is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. Our Patient Care Coordinators are an important part of the patient experience and the day-to-day success of our offices. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a busy environment, is comfortable using computers and office technology, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence speaking with patients both in person and over the phone
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with patients
  • Comfortable learning and working with multiple computer programs and office systems
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage a busy schedule
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, professional attitude and a genuine desire to help people
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, medical/clinical office, front desk, scheduling, or office administration is preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based office systems is helpful
  • Hearing healthcare experience is not required — we will provide training

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and help create a friendly, professional office experience from the moment they call or walk through the door
  • Manage the office schedule, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on appointments
  • Handle both incoming and outgoing patient calls
  • Work proactively with patients to schedule needed appointments and keep the provider's schedule productive and organized
  • Support the Hearing Care Professional with daily office and patient needs
  • Maintain accurate patient information, documentation, and office records
  • Process payments and assist with basic office financial responsibilities
  • Help manage office inventory and supplies
  • Assist with local marketing, patient outreach, and community referral efforts
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company procedures
  • Keep the office organized, professional, and welcoming
