About The Position

The Patient Care Coordinator: Floater is integral to our patient experience at Northwest Physical Therapy. In this role, you will travel to our 4 offices to fill in for scheduled and unscheduled days off. You will greet patients and the general public upon entering the facility, communicate with other medical professionals and patients to coordinate patient therapy treatments, and prepare and maintain patient billing and medical records. You will also manage patient insurance benefits, authorizations, and payment information, communicating insurance coverage, coverage limits, deductibles, and co-pay information to patients once benefit information is obtained. Additionally, you will perform general filing, mailing, and communication tasks, as well as general cleaning and upkeep of office, clinic, and reception areas. The goal is to manage the patient experience through effective communication, gathering accurate insurance information, and navigating the patient's therapy visit schedule, to provide the optimal healing environment.
