This is a part-time, regular position with 24 weekly hours and a 0.6 FTE, working day shifts. The role involves providing approved patient care and assisting with interventions under the supervision of an RN. Key responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living activities, supervising developmentally appropriate activities, offering assistance to coworkers, utilizing crisis control techniques for de-escalation, assisting with patient transport, and potentially performing 1-on-1 patient observations. The position also emphasizes demonstrating Cincinnati Children's CARES behaviors, reporting patient status changes, timely documentation, seeking guidance when needed, and discussing work concerns with the Director. Maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient environment, complying with infection control and safety procedures, responding to communication systems and alarms with urgency, answering telephones according to etiquette, assembling charts, ordering supplies, and potentially assisting with new employee orientation are also part of the role.
