Position Highlights Position: Patient Care Associate (PCA) Salary: Based on years of experience. Work Life Balance: Full-Time, 90% FTE | Night Shift (6:00pm – 6:30pm) - 3 shifts/week. Responsibilities

Provides high quality, direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, while providing an atmosphere that supports our mission to be our regions’ most trusted partner in healthcare.
Activities of daily living, measure and document intake and output, foley removal, telemetry monitor set up & telemetry monitoring, phlebotomy, blood glucose monitoring, oxygen set up, etc.
May provide clerical support to the care team including typing, word processing, transcribing physician orders, and acting as a liaison facilitating communication with or between other care providers and visitors directly or via telephone.
Works collaboratively with other care team members including the patient and family, and participates collaboratively with RN to achieve optimal outcomes.
Has access to confidential patient information.
Communicates with all team members regarding care provided by them to the assigned patient group.
Carries out daily activities under the direct supervision of a Patient Care Coordinator / Registered Nurse, RN or Assistant Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Nurse Manager or Director.
