About The Position

Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care and other related technical and clinical support activities. Receives, screens, routes and responds to incoming telephone calls. Greets guests and provides appropriate assistance and information. Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery. Complies with privacy and confidentiality policies when communicating with callers and guests.

Requirements

• No Degree or any other education earned (Required)
• BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
• BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
• BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Three (3) months of patient care experience demonstrating the ability to perform basic patient care or certification of completion from formal training program required.
• EKG and phlebotomy competencies are required within six (6) months of hire date.
