Requirements

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous CNA experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate personal care by assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring they maintain their dignity and comfort throughout their stay.
  • Support clinical excellence by assisting with physician-ordered treatments under RN supervision, directly contributing to the patient's recovery plan.
  • Act as a vital clinical link by observing and reporting changes in a patient’s physical or emotional condition, ensuring the nursing team can respond proactively to evolving needs.
  • Foster a healing environment by maintaining clean and organized patient spaces, which reduces stress for families and enhances safety protocols.
