About The Position

This is a Part-Time Patient Care Assistant position in the Medical Surgical Telemetry Department at Holy Family Medical Center- LTACH in Des Plaines, IL, working 12-hour night shifts. The role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and helping maintain a safe environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification required
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology

Nice To Haves

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred
