About The Position
The Surgery Center of Kalamazoo is seeking a dependable and motivated Temporary Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support our fast-paced, team-oriented ambulatory surgery center. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys patient interaction, staying busy, and working in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient transport and room turnover
- Support nursing staff with patient care needs
- Stock supplies and maintain clean patient care areas
- Help ensure efficient patient flow throughout the center
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families
- Assist with general support duties as assigned
