Patient Care Assistant - Medical Departments - PCA
About The Position
Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care, which support nursing practice under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. The nursing assistant carries out designated activities that are within those functions limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to patients and assisting in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Open positions are available across our inpatient units, including Med Surg, Float Pool, PCU, and ICU.
Requirements
- Must be a Nursing Assistant.
- Must be able to work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- Must be able to perform tasks limited by law to unlicensed nursing personnel.
- Must be able to assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Must be able to provide basic nursing care to patients.
- Must be able to assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
