About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our Regional Float team, serving as a support resource to our dedicated nursing staff committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers, looking for an opportunity to deliver bedside care and support to patients in a hospital-based environment. This position will be asked to help cover assignments at our sister HSHS ministries in Southern IL: Breese, Greenville, Highland. HSHS will pay a mileage reimbursement for the commute.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification in state of practice is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required upon 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a support resource to dedicated nursing staff.
Provide bedside care and support to patients in a hospital-based environment.
