About The Position
Patient Care Assistant (PCA) – Direct Care / CNA / TBI Rehab Novi, MI & Surrounding Areas $17+/hr + Bonuses Full-Time (32+ hours/week) | Overtime Available. Medical Alternatives, Inc. is CARF-certified and has proudly served individuals with traumatic brain injuries for over 30 years. We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team. No experience required. Paid training and certification provided. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will support individuals in AFC-licensed group homes and semi-independent living environments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Michigan driver's license, in good standing
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid and CBIS certification preferred
- Experience in patient care, CNA, or TBI support is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and hygiene
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Supporting medication administration
- Transporting individuals using a company vehicle
- Providing emotional support and encouraging independence
