About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join the MedSurg Department at their Ontario location. The PCA will provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN/LVN. This role involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. Avita Health System serves communities in Crawford and Richland counties with three hospitals and numerous clinic locations, having grown to employ over 2,300 team members and more than 200 physicians and advanced practitioners. Requirements
- Current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire date.
Nice To Haves
- Current Certification as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or applicable work-related experience working as a nursing assistant.
- Previous experience working as a nursing assistant.
