About The Position
Scheurer Health, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a full time Certified Nurse Aide. This position is for the Acute Care - Emergency Department and involves full-time work with 72 hours per pay period, working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The role requires rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Complete a Certified Nursing Assistant course
- Valid CENA Certification
- Minimum one year experience as a CENA in a hospital environment
- Minimum one year of experience in a clerical position.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Responsibilities
- Follow Scheurer’s policies and procedures, participate in improving the patient and family experience.
- Provide basic patient care, assistance to the nursing and physician staff as needed.
- Unit Clerk/Receptionist responsibilities during their shift.
- Assist outside clinical departments as needed.
