About The Position

Visiting Angels Homecare is seeking compassionate, trustworthy, motivated, and independent individuals to join their team as Patient Care Assistants (PCA). As a PCA, you will provide in-home care to the elderly, enabling them to maintain their independence. While a CNA certificate is not required, PCAs must be capable of providing comprehensive care to all clients. This includes companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with personal care tasks such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming. The role also requires the ability to use mechanical lifts (e.g., Hoyer, stand-aid) when necessary. Hands-on training is available. Visiting Angels offers both full-time and part-time rewarding caregiver positions for those passionate about providing dignified and respectful care to seniors.

Requirements

• 1 year of caregiving experience (Required)
• Driver's License (Required)
• Working email and phone
• Ability to pass a background check
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Reliable transportation (including during snow days)

Nice To Haves

• 1 plus year of caregiving experience is preferred.
