About The Position

Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Woodforest is hiring a Patient Care Assistant/CNA. This facility has 3 OR rooms and 1 treatment room and performs outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedics, Total Joints, Spine, and Pain Management. The position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required, and the schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and the flow of the day. The Patient Care Assistant maintains all endoscope equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to OSHA, SGNA, and manufacturer guidelines. They also maintain the work environment in keeping with infection control guidelines to promote quality patient care. The role functions within the philosophy, policies, and procedures of the ASC and represents the practice within and outside the organization. The Patient Care Assistant works cooperatively with all other staff members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant or Certified Nurse Assistant or Patient Care Technician.
• BLS certification required
• One Year experience directly related to duties and responsibilities specified.
